Michael Kendrick

Investor. Ministry builder. Author.

Michael’s career began in aerospace engineering and grew to include investment banking, private equity, venture capital, and operating leadership. He founded Kendrick Capital Management and has been involved in building businesses, Christian ministries, and educational initiatives.

His work includes founding leadership at iDisciple and long-standing relationships with organizations serving churches, students, families, and communities. Through Providence Christian Foundation, that experience is connected to Christian giving and service.

His writing explores the questions that run through this work: purpose, faithful stewardship, eternal hope, and the implications of emerging technology. Battle of the Seed continues that exploration.

Carson Kendrick

Research with purpose. Giving with care.

Carson joined KFO in 2024. As Director of Equity Research and Foundation Grants, he leads fundamental research on public companies, builds valuation and risk models, and helps shape the family’s public-equities portfolio.

For Providence Christian Foundation, he sources ministry opportunities, conducts mission and financial due diligence, cultivates relationships, and manages the full grant cycle. His work connects financial diligence with the family’s Christian values and the purpose each ministry serves.

    A foundation in engineering

    B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Auburn University; MBA, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, 1985.

  2. 1991

    Kendrick Capital Management

    Establishes Kendrick Capital Management in Atlanta, focused on private equity and venture capital.

  3. 1994

    Roswell Capital Partners

    Co-founds Roswell Capital Partners and serves as Senior Partner through 2013.

  4. 1995

    A family rooted in church

    Michael and Michele are among North Point’s founding families.

  5. 1999

    Ministry Ventures

    Co-founder and founding board member, helping Christian nonprofit leaders build strong organizations.

  6. 2006

    Providence Christian Foundation

    Launches the Foundation to support evangelism, discipleship and education, and compassion.

  7. 2011–2015

    Purpose in print

    Rich Forever (2011), The Fulfillment Factor (2012), and Your Blueprint for Life (2015).

  8. 2013

    iDisciple

    Co-founder and founding CEO through 2015, bringing Christian teaching to a digital platform.

    Phase Family Center

    Co-founds Phase Family Center, connecting preschool education, family services, and community.

    BigStuf Camps

    Seven years of board service, including a four-year term as chairman.

    Bible Optics

    The Kendrick family becomes a founding member family; Michael serves on the board from the beginning.
